Our Baja SAE team is a student-driven engineering program built around one goal: design it, build it, and prove it.
From the first CAD model to the final lap, our students take on every challenge that comes with developing a competition-ready off-road vehicle. We design and analyze systems, fabricate components, assemble the vehicle, and put our work through real-world testing where reliability, durability, and performance are put to the test.
Baja SAE demands more than a fast vehicle. Every system has to survive harsh terrain, unpredictable conditions, and the punishment of competition while remaining safe, practical, and cost-conscious. Our team constantly pushes the balance between speed, strength, reliability, and innovation.
This isn't a project that ends when the semester does. It's an ongoing engineering challenge where students learn by doing—and where mistakes become lessons, designs become hardware, and ideas become a machine capable of taking on the race course.
Our members gain hands-on experience in mechanical design, CAD, manufacturing, fabrication, suspension, drivetrain, electrical systems, vehicle dynamics, testing, project management, and teamwork. Most importantly, they learn what it takes to take an idea from the drawing board and make it perform under pressure.
A competitive Baja vehicle takes more than student effort. Materials, components, machining, fabrication, testing, transportation, and race expenses all add up.
That's where our sponsors make the difference.
When you support our team, you're helping students turn engineering concepts into a real, functioning race vehicle—and giving future engineers the opportunity to design, build, break, improve, and compete.
We bring the drive. You help us get to the starting line.
Building a competition-ready Baja vehicle takes a team—and that team extends beyond the students in the shop. Our sponsors provide the resources that allow us to design, fabricate, test, and compete at the highest level.
Every contribution directly supports our students and the work behind the vehicle. To recognize the organizations and individuals who help make our season possible, we offer four sponsorship levels.
Platinum sponsors provide exceptional support for our team and play a major role in making our competition season possible. Sponsors at this level receive premier recognition across our team, vehicle, digital presence, and promotional materials.
Gold sponsors help fund the materials, components, manufacturing, testing, and resources required to keep our vehicle moving from the workshop to the race course. Their support receives prominent recognition throughout the season.
Silver sponsors contribute directly to the development and preparation of our Baja vehicle. Their support helps provide students with the resources needed to design, build, test, and compete.
Bronze sponsors provide valuable support that helps cover the many costs involved in building and competing with a Baja vehicle. We proudly recognize these supporters as an important part of our team.
Sponsorship is more than putting a name on a vehicle. It's an investment in students, engineering, and the next generation of problem-solvers.
Whether you're providing a major component, manufacturing assistance, materials, or financial support, your contribution helps turn a student-designed concept into a machine that can withstand the demands of competition.
